"Tropical Colorwash"

Congratulations to Clio Moore who won our 2001 opportunity quilt called "Tropical Colorwash". The pattern is from the book entitled "Scrapquilts" by Patricia Wellins for Oxmoor House. It is pieced using Batik Fabrics and is machine quilted by Pamela Uhlig

Following is the note Clio wrote to us about winning this gorgeous quilt.

Feb. 2002

Dear Piecemakers,

I want to thank you for the opportunity to win the 2001 quilt. It is beautiful, and I am very proud to be the owner of this lovely quilt.

Also a special thanks goes to the wonderful quilters that worked on the quilt, from pattern choice, to selecting the gorgeous Bali fabric.

This quilt will always be special to me. Thank you again.
